I for one am really excited with the new edition and can’t wait to get stuck into some games. It finally gives me a reason to dust off my Chaos Marines and get them back on the tabletop! Although those Primaris Marines sure are tempting me…

Good luck to all that take part and happy Wargaming, I’ll see you in the new edition!

Chris

The re-balancing of all armies makes the game so much more fun to play..

My necrons’ RP rule is very fluffy and I love it..

My AdMech is a single army now and their new rules are awesome..

Finally after 10,000 years I’m free!

And so are all the primarchs!

What I’m most looking forward to is the new faster gameplay, with the same old feel!

Jeff

Love to see the new rules. And a chance to play a new army. Giving me the opportunity to involve my friends and family is definitely a plus as well

– as a guard player i’m looking forward to my tanks not being one hit by meltas and having rough riders – as a sisters of battle and silence player i’m looking forward to being able to assault out of rhinos with deathcult assassins, repentia and vigilator squads – i like that you will be able to bring big monsters down under weight of fire (you fire 100 lasguns at a target in reality the thermal heat from the shots will cook it if the shots themselves don’t kill it) and i’m looking forward to getting some cool inspiration for… Read more »

I hope slanesh gets updated models too. and kinda hope tjey wpuld bring old models back again.

I’m most excited for the streamlined rules. Constantly having to refer to charts was the biggest thing that kept me from really playing previous editions

Joseph

The overall flow at a glance seems to have improved greatly. Hopefully bringing the combat phase up to the shooting phase. The new models of course. The return of the rest of the primarchs. I can’t wait for all of it. I’ve been playing for years this should be one the best editions of 40k.

Corey

The time line moving forward and units that have been collecting dust finally having the opportunity to be used.

Chris Szynkowski

Two things, being able to put my orks on the table again and seeing how the lore evolves.

Kieran Snow

I personally really want to paint the models, I love the death guard and primaris models. The primaris marines will be a great addition to my dark angel army

Very excited for streamlining and balance.

Lots of retro features in the game too such as save mods and damage values.

New shinies in box too 🙂

Can’t wait for the Death Guard

What really excites me about this edition is the changes made to how it will be played. I have heard some really good things about the changes to the shooting and cc phases and found the change to rules like AP and even stats on tanks and dreadnaughts to be interesting. Also the new models look great which is a bonus….but they are missing something, maybe black, white and a maltese cross and they would be perfect.

Ross Simmerman

More level playing field with everyone starting fresh.

Getting back into the game after a many year absence due to it finally looking like fun to play again

My thousand sons will be ready for the 8th bomb and buyou the will of prospero we shall endure. I lover all things chaos think about it. Giant deamons, thirsting gods and mad super soldiers warpbent on destroying the very thing they one fought for.

Jack

Pretty keen for the new Tau rules, only started a few months back but loving every minute I get to play

Mitch
Guest

Can’t wait to play with my nids! Haven’t played since 4th, and ready to dive on in. I’d also love to win the box set just to turn the Primaris marines into a chapter of stormcast eternal! Sigmarines!!

Devin

The game is so much more friendly to get into. I’ve recently got 4 of my friends into 40k and this new edition is going to make the learning process so much better.

Also Orks are going to be amazing 😀

Chris
Guest

Cuz I got banned from my Horus Heresy league and needed an excuse to play

Rob
Guest

Pick up games with power levels! I don’t have days to play a game and construct masterpiece lists, so smashing up some imperials in an hour or so with only moments notice sounds great to me.

Stefanos
Guest

Must have this! Roboute came to my sleep and told me I was chosen!

Kadmon

The inceptor marines look exciting!

Can’t Wait to add the Primaris SM to my Iron Hands Army!

Iain Morrison
Guest

I’m really looking forward to seeing how the Primaris Marines will integrate with the regular marines on the battlefield. As yet I am not sure which gap they will fill, but I’m looking forward to finding out!

Jonathon Charles

It’s a good excuse to get back into 40k and I can now justify it more as a heresy player as technically it’s as different game to play!

Kingzxxz
Guest

Tau are still space communists and the eldar are still kinky buggers. Though seeing some gameplay on youtube the new functions seem really cool and I can’t wait to get back in to the game at such a good starting point.

Finn Townsend-gee

I like the simplicity of the new edition, will make it easier to introduce friends.

It’s a good start to reading into the background fluff of the armies and the state of the imperium when guilliman returns. Also it’d be guud to play with my boyfriend with 2 starting armies.
